What does it do?
PC-EFT IP is part of the Host PC-EFT family of solutions, allowing merchants to securely integrate existing business applications directly to the Servebase Managed Payment Service, removing the need to host and maintain local payment servers or direct communications links to the acquirers from the merchant site.
PC-EFT IP is fully scalable, using secure IP connection from the merchant site, it is able to support multiple transactions for all levels of transaction processing.
How does it work?
The merchant’s business application writes to a simple PC-EFT IP interface which it accesses over the internet using a secure SSL link. All transaction details are passed through from the business application; the details are validated and sent using the Servebase payment service to your acquiring bank for authorisation.
A response is then passed back to the business application. Upon acceptance of the authorisation response by the application, the transaction it is then submitted for settlement at the end of the day or as required.
